The laboratories housed within Infrastructure Engineering Building (Block D) serve as dynamic and purpose-built environments tailored for learning and research. Positioned at the forefront of technological advancements, these state-of-the-art facilities within the University of Melbourne Engineering Precinct in Parkville are poised to accommodate over 50 staff and students.

In partnership with Intrec Management and Architectus, Westlab played a pivotal role in the project by delivering and installing a comprehensive laboratory furniture fit-out package across 1,200m2 of lab space. The success of this project was underpinned by a closely-knit collaboration involving Westlab, the end-users, architect, and builder. A series of workshops at the Westlab Experience Centre ensured that the final design aligns seamlessly with the diverse needs of all stakeholders.

By offering an environment that fosters creativity and collaboration, this project signifies a significant leap towards transforming the future of education, entrepreneurship, and technology within the University of Melbourne Engineering Precinct.
