Westlab projects worked with Intertek in Perth to design, manufacturer and install the laboratory furniture for their 19,000m2 HQ and mega laboratory.
After combining the Intertek Global Minerals HQ and the Centre of Excellence this site will not only be home to the largest Intertek Minerals laboratory in the world, but it will also offer on-site access to other major Intertek Business Lines.
The state-of-the-art laboratory will support Intertek’s customers in the mining and oil & gas industries, giving them access to trusted expertise in mineral testing, oil and gas testing, inspections, and analysis.
The modularity of the Australian made “Modulab Connect” laboratory systems allows Intertek to remain flexible in a fast-changing environment while facilitating the advanced world of robotic automated, including sample preparation, XRF and wet chemistry systems.
High corrosion areas were custom engineered in a “steel-free” system to guarantee longevity in a harsh environment.
