The Westlab project team immediately commenced consultation with the client to determine a practical and cost-effective solution that met their need for enhanced management of student practicals and large class sizes, ease of installation, and most critically on time completion.

Timeframe from the initial consultation to the final design was less than 2 weeks.

Following the sign off on the agreed design, the Westlab project team delivered the project within 8 weeks, enabling the science labs to be fully operational when the students returned from the end of year break.

The classroom spaces consisted of flexible student modules with gas, water and power for science practicals, loose whiteboard student desks, glassware/general storage at the back of each classroom and student seating.

The preparation rooms consisted of chemical and general equipment storage, preparation work benches and compactus units with a custom integrated tub and frame system.
