The Westlab projects team has been working closely with NSW Health to design, manufacture and install their new genomics laboratories at the Westmead Hospital in Sydney using the Modulab Connect system.
Key aspects that assisted with the Westmead’s decision to work with Westlab included our core design capabilities, workflow assessment, material suitability and flexibility of the Modulab Connect system.
The NSW Public Health Genomics Partnership (NSW-PGP) is an exciting new initiative funded by NSW Health which recognises the importance of new genomic technologies to population health, and of a need for a networked centre of excellence for research and development.
Our laboratory project consultants worked with the team of clinicians and microbiologists at Westmead that secured several NHMRC project grants, some in collaboration with one or more PGP Network partners as CIs, in pathogen genomics.
