Cairns Adventist College is a growing independent school focused on delivering strong academic outcomes and providing contemporary learning environments for its students. To further enhance its STEM offering and support enrolment growth, the College identified the need for a new, modern science laboratory that would elevate both teaching quality and student engagement.
The brief called for a functional, flexible space capable of supporting practical experiments as well as theory‑based instruction. Working within these requirements, Westlab collaborated closely with Burling Brown Architects and Osborne Constructions to ensure the design intent, functionality, and project constraints were fully aligned.
