Being one of the largest building projects at a New Zealand school, the Westlab Spaces team were pleased to be engaged to design, manufacture and project manage the fit out of eight new science rooms. The High School required a practical space that would enhance the students’ passion for tech and science
With tech and science training being a popular choice in a Boys High School, this new facility provides a modern environment for learning which is a huge step forward for both the school and for Northland. The team at Westlab worked closely with the architects and builders to come up with solutions that were suitable to the application such as cabinetry framework, benchtop and underbench joinery materials.
As a result, Westlab manufactured and installed a full state-of-art joinery package and related fittings and fixtures at Whangarei Boys High School, delivering a stunning outcome.
