University of Windsor Lab 135

The University of Windsor located in the southernmost part of Ontario, is a student focused research facility – enrolling more than 16,000 students annually. Canadian students and students studying abroad are offered a range of undergraduate and graduate programs. With a focus on health and natural sciences, U of Windsor recently took on a large laboratory upgrade project to advance their lab spaces around campus.

Situated at the south end of the campus, Science South is the first of the university’s new science facilities that will deliver modern, state-of-the-art teaching, research, and collaboration spaces. The Westlab Spaces team worked closely with the Universities construction team and architect to craft the ultimate modern and up to date centre for science. This new space will accommodate for more students from all over the world to study, especially in the fields of food and fibre.

The new laboratory space is bright, industrial and delivers a safe, futureproof, inspirational environment where the students, graduates and researchers can contribute to a globally-competitive life sciences industry. The lab features custom case work including under bench storage, overhead storage, additional storage cupboards & pantries, safety stations, bulkheads, and gown storage.
