Westlab projects were privileged to be an integral part of this project by Kane Constructions Pty Ltd. The WEBS building is a world-class facility for the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Science, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, and the Faculty of Science for teaching, research and training in the biosciences.
More than 700 students a day in the STEMM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine – fields will be learning in the new four-level, 6-star Green Star building on the corner of Tin Alley and Royal Parade. They will be using modern facilities and the latest sophisticated technologies which will substantially improve the student and teacher experience.
We undertook initial consultation, considering user ergonomics and effective storage layouts to establish the ideal objectives. The equipment package was carefully chosen through extensive feedback from the end users and additional equipment warranties. The new space is designed for efficiency and flexibility.
