Following a competitive tender process, Westlab was selected by head contractor Arete to provide the lab joinery package for a refurbishment on Level 6 at UoM Medical Building 181.
The previous out-dated labs were demolished and the preceding renovation was supported by Westlab’s laboratory benching, underbench storage and suspended service spines. A complex mix of services required in the spaces was handled easily by the Westlab spine system, and the laboratory now presents as an efficient, clean looking facility where health research and discovery can be performed on a daily basis.
