In response to the urgent requirement of a pathology laboratory specifically setup for COVID 19 testing, the Royal Melbourne Hospital engaged the services of Westlab’s projects team.
Design input was provided by our team to assist with workflow, specific storage shelving and sample through-put to help maximise the efficiency of the space.
With a tight deadline, Westlab’s project team successfully delivered the project working with the head contractor, Alchemy Construct, and the outcome achieved was a functional laboratory space that will be relevant well into the future through use of the Modulab Connect laboratory joinery system.
The dynamic environment of this pathology laboratory has been enhanced by the modularity of the Modulab Connect system, keeping the space agile and adaptable to change.
