Houghton International Inc. has been serving the metalworking, automotive, and steel industries, along with a variety of other markets including the offshore oil exploration and production industry, with the development and production of specialty chemicals, oils and lubricants. Houghton International continues its focus to expand its customer service operations and grow its worldwide facilities.
The team at Westlab projects worked with Houghton International to design, manufacture and install Stage 3 and 4 of their new Moorabbin laboratories with the traditional C-frame system. The system incorporated the world class Gratnells laboratory storage system along with plenty of laboratory general storage space.
The result ended in a custom designed laboratory space that is fit for purpose as well as simple and functional with good layout consideration reducing downtime in motion while increasing efficiencies.
