Haileybury College, crowned as the 2018 Australian School of the Year, is one of the most highly acclaimed private schools in Australia. This acclaim stems from their remarkable academic results achieved through the highly successful parallel education model, outstanding teachers, small class sizes and an unmatched level of individual attention – and over 127 years of history and achievement.

Seeking to bring the middle school preparation rooms up to date, Haileybury approached Westlab as their privileged partner of choice in designing and fitting out this space.

With a strong focus on maximising storage area in the compact footprint of the upstairs and downstairs rooms, Westlab’s project team effectively utilised the Modulab Connect system along with the Gratnells tray system.

The outcome was a lean and highly-organised science preparation area, with best use of space being reflected throughout both rooms. Certainly a satisfactory result for the client and Westlab’s projects team at a well-appointed school.
