Eurofins Sydney Campus

Founded in 1987, Eurofins has evolved over the years to become a world leader in food, environment, pharma product testing & agroscience CRO services, with 61,000 staff across a network of more than 1000 independent companies, working in 940 laboratories throughout 59 countries.

In NSW Australia, requirement for consolidation of the key silos within Eurofins led to the design and construction of a 10,000sqm purpose-built laboratory facility. Now fully operational, this houses environment, pharmaceutical, agroscience and food testing laboratories on a single site within specialised contained workspaces.

This purpose-built campus was designed with the accommodation of up to 350 scientists and laboratory personnel in mind and will double the size of Eurofins’ operations capacity in New South Wales.

The Westlab project team were engaged by architect Burtenshaw Scoufis during the design phase, as the Modulab Connect laboratory joinery system was an ideal fit for the purpose of the laboratory space. With the core driver of the laboratory being to reduce cost per sample and improve sample throughput, the flexible nature of our system allowed for increased efficiency and better workflows.

Westlab was pleased to also partner with Schiavello Construction to deliver a stunning Australian Made project that will aid the team at Eurofins in their continual pursuit of analytical excellence and customer satisfaction.
