Formed in 1965, Deer Lake School is an independent Christian school located in the heart of Burnaby, British Columbia. Their vision is to provide a child-centred Christian education for students K-12. Part of this commitment means up to date learning spaces for their students and staff to learn and grow.
Westlab was engaged by the facilities team at Deer Lake to update their science classroom to meet 21st century needs. The Westlab Spaces team focused on maximizing the existing space with the new Modulab Connect and Gratnells Bin Storage Systems. This created a fully custom and flexible science classroom to facilitate their changing needs. The lab also features high-end laboratory equipment and a premium fume hood.
The result was a modular, future-proof science space for the students; designed, manufactured, and installed by Westlab Spaces.
