BHP Billiton Nickel West Pty Ltd discovers, develops, explores, processes, and markets minerals and metals. The company processes nickel, copper, phosphate fertilizers, uranium oxide, gold, and other minor byproducts. The company provides exploration, development, mining, smelting, and refining of copper and extraction of uranium in South Australia and nickel in Western Australia.
Westlab projects worked closely with BHP Billiton and associated builders to design, manufacture and install Stage One of the new laboratory facilities at the Nickel West site at Kwinana Beach, Western Australia.
A simple and functional space was created facilitate the rigorous demands of this Western Australian laboratory. Plenty of overhead storage coupled with service islands and custom hardware keeps this space fit for purpose and tidy. The Chemtemp extreme epoxy bench top will stand up to the heavy acids and diverse dynamics of the laboratory purpose.
