Bass Coast Jnr Secondary College is situated in San Remo, and has been recently constructed to service years 7-9 students in the South-West Gippsland region.
The Westlab projects team worked closely with Kennedy Nolan Architects and SJ Higgins to deliver a laboratory preparation room that is functional, flexible and aesthetically pleasing.
The Modulab Connect system lends an additional degree of flexibility to the entire layout, and enhances the aesthetics of the space. The service spines give additional storage flexibility whilst enhancing the laboratory feel, and is further complimented with the use of Gratnells storage throughout.
The outcome achieved was a stunning space, focused on student outcomes and quick lesson changeovers. Utilising the proprietary Australian made ‘Modulab Connect’ benching system, this can be further adapted in the future for the changing requirements.
